My Triumph Herald 1200

My Car!

My old Herald has been in my family for years. My Poppa bought it originally for my Nan years ago but after driving it she didn't want it, My pop was going to sell it to my uncle but my mum loved it so she begged for it my uncle could see how much she loved the car and stepped back and my mum bought it from my pop.

years later my mum started to restore the car (because it was starting to get rundown). But when winter hit Mum decided she didn't want to drive around in an old convertible. she got another car and the Herald was put away in the shed to work on later. I inherited the Little Herald to be done up for when i had my license. 

The car has been pulled out a few times imbetween but the restoration had to be paused because of lack of time or money.

Thirteen Years Later here we are pulling my baby out ready to restart this Restoration!

Ann Margret the Swedish Sex Kitten of the 60s

Can we just talk about Ann Margret for a hot minute? The Swedish bombshell that stole Elvis Presley's heart. (and mine)

Ann Margret is a Swedish-American actress, singer and dancer, shes a pretty amazing Lady.  Ann was born in Valsjöbyn, Jämtland County, Sweden April 28, 1941. She moved to United States in November 1946. Becoming a a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1949.

Ann is well known for her roles in Bye Bye Birdie, The Swinger and Viva Las Vegas which she starred alongside Elvis Presley. 

Elvis and Ann both referred to each others soulmates.


In her Memior, Ann refers to Elvis as her "soulmate", but very little is revealed of there long-rumored romance, only that "in a moment of tenderness" Elvis bought Ann a round bed in hot pink colours.

In July 1967, Ann Margret gave her first live performance in Las Vegas.Elvis and his entourage came to see her during the show's five week run and to celebrate backstage. from then on Elvis sent her a guitar shapes floral arrangement for each of her Vegas openings.

Ann was also known for her love of motorcycles. In the film The Swinger Ann rode on a Triumph T100C Tiger Motorcycle. She also did some modeling for Triumph.
